~ Quick Fix: Jeera Aaloo!!

Jeera Aloo is a comfort dish! Easy, yummy and so flavorful, best part, it’s kid friendly!!

Ingredients:

🥔 1.5 tablespoon Cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste, 1 heaped teaspoon bhuna jeera power – haldi – dhaniya powder, 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder, salt to taste, pinch of heeng, kasuri methi and amchur powder.

🥔 2 green chilies slit, 5 medium aaloos boiled, cut into cubes and 1 tablespoon oil along with Dhaniya for garnish!

Method:

🥔 In a pan, heat the oil, put the green chilies in and then jeera. Once they splutter, put the ginger-garlic paste and mix. Now add the heeng, mix and add in all the spices. Cook to roast the spices. Add in the boiled aaloos and stir to coat them well. Add little bit of water, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Now add the karuri methi and amchur powder, cook on low for another 5 minutes, keep mixing. Garnish with coriander leaves and it’s ready!
